♜The Lazaret n°2 was built in 1880 and was used until the half of the 20th century. It consists in particular in two dormitories made of stone with a red brick roof. The site is considered a "memory space" ("lieu de mémoire") because it reminds of the multicultural origins of the Reunion people.
